CONTRACT NEGOTIATION

We have practiced contractual law for over ten years in New York City. During this time, we have negotiated over $100 million in contracts for our clients.

Over the past three years, the contracts we have negotiated for our draft picks average an 11.75% increase over the previous year’s rookie pool percentage for the same draft selection.

Prior to entering any negotiation, we perform an exhaustive statistical analysis of comparable contracts by round, team, position and overall selection to provide us with a basic platform from where we can begin our discussions.

We have implemented base salary escalators, performance incentive bonuses and other strategic contractual mechanisms to maximize guaranteed money for our clients.

We were the first agency (in 2002) to negotiate 53 man roster salary for a client on practice squad. As a result of this ground-breaking negotiation, the NFLPA revised its bylaws and opened the door for other players to collect greater compensation while under contract to an NFL team.

Drawing upon our comprehensive background in contractual law, we will draft and negotiate precise contractual language designed to protect and safeguard any guaranteed money over the life of the contract and ensure that the money is yours to keep regardless of unforeseen future circumstances.

Contract negotiation is our expertise. Our academic credentials, professional and legal background, knowledge of the CBA and extensive experience in the area of contractual law provide us with a decided competitive advantage over any other agency or team in the negotiation of an NFL player contract.
