Selected by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round (250th pick overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. Started the final seven games of the 2009 NFL regular season. Projected starter heading into 2010.
Collegiate Career
Played in 45 games with 18 starts for Syracuse University. Team captain. Earned reputation as a devastating lead blocker with 108 knockdown blocks and 11 touchdown-resulting blocks during final two seasons. Finished career with 16 carries for 89 yards and 28 receptions for 202 yards and 1 TD.
High School Career
Attended Walkersville (MD) High School.
